Yesterday was February 14 called Valentine’s Day which celebrated from couples all around the world. I wanted to post something about this speacial day but I was really tired because of studying for certificate exam. Now I have time to write summary of Valentine’s Day.
Everybody knows that the story of Valentine’s Day but let’s remember once again!
The story of Valentine’s Day begins in the third century with an oppressive Roman emperor and a humble Christian martyr. The emperor was Claudius II Gothicus. The Christian was Valentinus.
Claudius had ordered all Romans to worship state religion’s idols, and he had made it a crime punishable by death to associate with Christians. But Valentinus was dedicated to the ideals of Christ, and not even the threat of death could keep him from practicing his beliefs.
During the last weeks of Valentinus’s life a remarkable thing happened. One day a jailer for the Emperor of Rome knocked at Valentinus’s door clutching his blind daughter in his arms. He had learned of Valentinus’s medical and spiritual healing abilities, and appealed to Valentinus to treat his daughter’s blindness. She had been blind since birth. Valentinus knew that her condition would be difficult to treat but he gave the man his word he would do his best. The little girl was examined, given an ointment for her eyes and a series of re-visits were scheduled.
Then one day, Valentinus received a visit from Roman soldiers who arrested him, destroyed his medicines and admonished him for his religious beliefs. When the little girl’s father learned of his arrest and imprisonment, he wanted to intervene but there was nothing he could do.
On the eve of his death, Valentinus wrote a last note to Julia – knowing his execution was imminent. Valentinus asked the jailer for a paper, pen and ink. He quickly jotted a farewell note and handed it to the jailer to give to his blind daughter. He urged her to stay close to GOD, and he signed it “From Your Valentine.” His sentence was carried out the next day, February 14, 270 A.D., near a gate that was later named Porta Valentini in his memory.
When the jailer went home, he was greeted by his little girl. The little girl opened the note and discovered a yellow crocus inside. The message said, “From your Valentine.” As the little girl looked down upon the crocus that spilled into her palm she saw brilliant colors for the first time in her life! The girl’s eyesight was restored! A miracle!
He was buried at what is now the Church of Praxedes in Rome. It is said that Julia herself planted a pink-blossomed almond tree near his grave. Today, the almond tree remains a symbol of abiding love and friendship. In 496 Pope Gelasius I named February 14 as Saint Valentine’s Day. On each Valentine’s Day, messages of affection, love and devotion are still exchanged around the world.
According to remember this story, we can look at 21th century’s Valentine’s Day.
This year there was an social organization called 1 Billion Rising. The aim of this project was one billion women is dancing for revoluation on February 14, 2013 which was 15th anniversary of V-Day’s. One in three women on the planet will be raped or beaten in her life time and violated is an atrocity. This action happened because of reacting this barbarity.
This is the official video of 1 Billion Rising
So what did I something else? Of course I made cupcakes from my recipe. (^ ⌣ ^)
I can be lonely but this is not obstacle for making happy to myself. I will always happy when I make dessert for me. I hope everybody passed a wonderful Valentine’s Day as a lonely or a couple. ƪ(♥o♥)ʃ
“Sometimes goodbye is a second chance…” I really love this song which is right and tells

My grandfather always said that “If you want something with your whole soul and heart, you always get a best result ever. So, you never stop to believe in yourself!”
He couldn’t see my success, because I lost him 8 months ago but I can feel that he is watching me and proud of me. I believe that he was right about his quote. I really wanted to graduate from university. I was forced into waiting extra one more semester for graduate and now, I was officially graduated with honour degree on January 16, 2013.
Ok ok.. I cannot see any dramatic words anymore. Let’s celebrate it! ٩(×⌣×)۶
I feel happy and sad at the same time and I know that I cannot describe how does it feel. I am hopeful, expect lots of things from life but uncertinaty scare me sometimes. I’ll get my diploma on February and attend the graduation ceremony this summer, if I don’t die. ヘ(^_^ヘ)

Love & Kisses,
Every end of semester, the finals visit us again. I know that we are unable to escape from our fate. That’s my final finals, because I am expecting to graduate on February 2013, hopefully. (˘˛˘!)
I don’t know how is your finals period in your college, but in my, we call it “umbrella situation”. You got it! ☜(ﾟヮﾟ☜)
At this time, I have one more final which will be next wednesday, is Networking Principles and Applications. Trying to motive yourself is so hard at that time, because when finals time comes, I do lots of junk things without studying. Thus, I prefer that studying college’s library or computer lab with my friends. Study study harrrrdddd!!! ( •͡˘˛˘ •͡)
I and my friend took a break and watched this beautiful view with cup of coffee but you’re right today was very cold and snowy day! (~˘ ⌣ ˘)~ I hope that I can go home without any accident before last final. God, please save me!
So, wish me luck for this fight.
